Jaaliyah Heard, Award-Winning Scholar & future physician
Meet Jaaliyah
This spring Jaaliyah (ja-lee-yuh) will complete “Running Start” which allows her to graduate from Belleville East High School (metro St. Louis area) with TWO Associates Degrees (one in Art & one in Science) in addition to her high school diploma!
Jaaliyah has already been accepted into the pre-med program at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where she will major in Biology. This means she will be entering Augustana as a college JUNIOR at only 17 years old!
After completing pre-med, her hope is to return to the St. Louis area to attend Washington University for medical school with the goal of becoming a neonatologist, caring for premature babies.
With dreams of graduating from college debt-free, Jaaliyah is hoping to gain enough votes in the Augustana "Good Fit" scholarship contest.
Voting only takes a click and no personal info is required. Voters can return once every 24hrs through Feb 1.
